Executive Assistant - Distributed Generation
Brookfield Renewable is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team supporting the Managing Director within Distributed Generation. The Executive Assistant will be a driven professional who will become an integral member of our team, supporting senior managers within the U.S. and providing administrative support to ensure all assigned duties and tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.This position reports to the Managing Director and is based in our New York City office.

Brookfield Renewable is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team supporting the Managing Director within Distributed Generation. The Executive Assistant will be a driven professional who will become an integral member of our team, supporting senior managers within the U.S. and providing administrative support to ensure all assigned duties and tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.This position reports to the Managing Director and is based in our New York City office.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Managing Director and other senior managers, including but not limited to managing calendars, coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings and conferences, and screening incoming calls and emails;
- Must be able to process purchase orders (P.O.'s) and processing of invoices as directed;
- Experience working with AP and procurement, an understanding of project payments when coding purchase orders;
- Assist with compiling presentations, reports and special projects as assigned by the Managing Director and senior management team;
- Experience binding, and printing materials needed to prepare presentations, assist with consolidating supporting materials;
- Organize internal meetings for managers including conference rooms scheduling/order food/refreshments as needed;
- Book travel arrangements including ground transportation, flights, and hotel accommodations as assigned and per the Travel & Expense guidelines;
- Manage the submission of expense reports for the senior managers in a timely and efficient manner;
- Coordinate and assist in gathering information for special projects using sound judgement in determining priorities; ability to multi-task;
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner;
- Occasionally may be required to provide support to Reception when temporary help is not available;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Polished communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with advanced knowledge of both Excel and PowerPoint, including experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and charts;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast paced environment, to adapt quickly and to manage changing priorities; capable of working in a high-pressure environment;
- Highly organized with attention to detail;
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; discrete in dealing with information of a sensitive and confidential nature;
- Professional, energetic attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent job experience; minimum five (5) years as an executive or administrative assistant including experience providing administrative support at the executive and/or corporate level;
- Experience managing multiple calendars, on basis of vacation, out-of-office, etc.;
- Knowledge of filing expenses and working with purchasing orders;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required and comfortable with learning new technologies and software; familiar with Salesforce, IFS a plus.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
