Job Summary:
CDR is currently looking for a Bilingual Production Clerk. The Production Clerk provides administrative support to the production team by maintaining accurate records, handling documentation, and assisting in the coordination of production processes. This role involves data entry, filing, and communication with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input production data, including work orders, schedules, and inventory information, into the company’s database or production management system.
  • Document Management: Create, update, and organize production-related documents such as reports, work orders, and inventory logs, ensuring easy access and proper filing.
  • Production Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to relevant departments and management.
  • Communicate Production Updates: Relay production schedule updates, changes, or delays to appropriate teams (e.g., procurement, warehouse, or management).
  • Track Materials and Inventory: Maintain records of material usage and inventory levels, assisting in generating material requisitions when stock levels are low.
  • Support Scheduling: Help coordinate and update production schedules based on workflow and material availability, ensuring alignment with department needs.
  • File and Maintain Records: Keep organized and accurate paper or digital records related to production activities, including work orders, inventory lists, and shipping documentation.
  • Assist in Problem Resolution: Report discrepancies or issues to the production supervisor and assist in resolving clerical errors.
  • Clerical Support: Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, and responding to emails or phone inquiries related to production activities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with production management or inventory software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory management and scheduling processes is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in an office environment with occasional visits to the production floor.
  • May require sitting for extended periods and minimal lifting of office supplies or files (up to 10 pounds).
