Production Operator – Prophetstown, Illinois
Our customer in Prophetstown, Illinois, is a manufacturing facility seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team. As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the welding cells meet production and quality standards. This temporary assignment is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Operator:
- Perform basic operations in loading and unloading the welding cell.
- Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards.
- Complete repetitive tasks typically involving one product line.
- Monitor production for continuous flow, addressing inconsistencies and preventing issues.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain the welding cell.
- Sanitize equipment and work area.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Production Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Capable of understanding and executing written and verbal instructions.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Pay for Production Operator: Starting at $15.00/hour.
