Position Highlights:
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, days.
  • Location: Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement - Asheboro, NC
  • Incentive: Sign on bonus for new hires who qualify ($10,000 for recent Radiography program graduates or $15,000 for experienced Radiologic Technologists).
  • Relocation: Up to $3,000 relocation assistance for candidates who qualify.
What you will do:

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team. Assist radiologists and other qualified staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical and image processing functions.

What is required:
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered (or registry eligible) with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Preferred: Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and one year experience with patients.
Skills for Success:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff
  • Ability to maintain daily schedules
  • Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
  • Performs effectively with frequent workload changes and competing demands
  • Basic computer skills
