Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical records management, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. An active NH license, BLS certification, and local anesthesia certificate are required. Pay is estimated, to be based on experience. Previous experience working with Eaglesoft is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
- Take medical imaging such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning with DMD.
- Record and maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and vital signs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, patient care techniques, and basic dental assisting skills is highly desirable.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with children and their guardians.

Hours
- Full Time – Anticipated 28-32 hours/week
- Monday/Tuesday 7:30am-4:15pm, Wednesday 9:30am-6:15pm, Thursdays 7:00am-3:15pm
Compensation will include hourly pay rate, the opportunity for a monthly bonus based on reaching team goals, paid time off and holidays, and after 6 months the opportunity to participate in the practice's 401K plan with matching.
