What We Are Looking For
The Regional Manager, RN is responsible for the oversight of clinical operations of patient care functions in assigned health care clinic settings, assisting in planning, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery. Supervising and reviewing nurse managers. Must be able to work with all levels of staff. Performs other duties as needed as assigned by the EDN. This position requires the incumbent to frequently travel to other sites and clinics for the purpose of meeting with off-site personnel/management and providing support and a continued presence. May require use of personal vehicle if Company vehicle is unavailable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES
- Oversight for implementation of and compliance with all new federal, state, and county laws and regulations for ambulatory health care facilities.
- Works with nursing leadership to ensure up to date clinical (nursing) policies and procedures.
- Directly responsible for all compliance related programs (Infection Control program, Respiratory Safety program, etc.), as defined by regulatory agencies (IEHP, HRSA, CDPH, County Public Health etc.). Works in conjunction with the Infection Control Physician, Quality RN, Infection Control Committee, and subcommittees.
- Works in conjunction with Clinic Nurse Manager (CNM) and other departments addressing/resolving urgent clinical care issues as indicated.
- Oversight of inventory for medication preference lists, implementation of new procedures working collaboratively with CNM, IT, Billing and Central Supply.
- Works closely with CNM/Vaccine Coordinator and provides oversight of immunization program (VFC, VFA, Private stock and other sources).
- Works with EDN developing and providing oversight of standardized quality workflows related to clinical nursing staff for all Quality metrics including UDS and P4P.
- Works closely with CNM and EDN as needed regarding Corrective Action Plans for clinical areas as needed. Oversight of clinical personnel and practices in assigned clinic locations.
- Travels to satellite clinics frequently and as indicated. Communicates with EDN regarding findings from visits.
- Implements succession planning strategies for CNM managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing RN program. Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master's preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Active, current, and unexpired California Nursing License, current CPR certification, valid California driver's license. As a requirement of this position, you must receive EPIC certification for the module you have been hired into.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years out-patient clinic experience or equivalent at a management level overseeing employees and clinical programs. Preferred to have, FQHC experience, proven experience with implementing and overseeing an infection control program, and knowledge of 340b medication program.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Computer competency, EHR experience preferred. Strong organization skills required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor in difficult situations. Must be able to foster an environment of learning and mentoring. Ability to build and lead strong teams.
- Essential Mental Abilities: Work independently and in teams. Capable of supervising other employees. Ability to handle complex issues and make sound decisions.
- Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.
