Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Vidant North Hospital, a member of the Vidant Health system. This position is ~70% hands-clinical and 30% management. This 204 bed community hospital is located ~73 miles northeast of Raleigh and ~ 79 miles southwest of Chesapeake, VA. Halifax County provides a wealth of outdoor recreational activities. From Lake Gaston, a 34 mile man-made lake, and Medoc Mountain State Park, a 2,300 acre natural wildlife preserve, to golfing and tennis, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Start with 3-4 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year!

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

The successful candidate will:
- manage the clinical nutrition program within ECU North Hospital;
- provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units;
- supervise one Clinical Dietitian;
- experience with Health Touch -Sodexo’s menu management preferred not required
- assist with supervision of the patient meal program, training and educating staff on programs, menus, diets and processes
- will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees.
- drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for Dietitians who will:
- be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base;
- have proven 13 months supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;
- 3 years as a practitioner
- demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; and
- have a passion for a high level of customer service.
- must obtain NC Licensure before start date

Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
