Senior Technical Product Manager of Cyber Security

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager, Cyber Security to lead projects related to Lucid vehicle security ecosystem. You will define architecture, write technical requirements, define the roadmap, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders at all levels.

The Role:

  • Drive cross-functional teams to consolidate detailed requirements and architecture specifications for next-generation vehicle and infrastructure security solutions.
  • Define the success criteria and priorities of the project/product benefits and arrive at executable roadmaps.
  • Author Security-related RFPs, RFQs, and SoWs spanning in-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure secure communications, secure ECU software/firmware updates, penetration testing, threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA), fleet data protection & privacy aspects, and evaluate suppliers.
  • Ensure complete requirements and architecture traceability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Verification and Development engineers to establish product excellence.
  • Ensure optimization of software through design reviews and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including External Suppliers, Vehicle Controls, Chassis, Safety, Battery, Infotainment, and UX, to realize project objectives on time and within budget.
  • Approach challenges laterally across systems and domains and vertically drill down to subsystems and elements involved.
  • Regularly communicate vision, features, priorities, deliverables, and goals to stakeholders via program documentation.
  • Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Influence technical decisions in working with large, cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • MS/BS minimum in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 6+ years of industry experience in technical architect roles and technical product management in network, cloud and information security, data privacy, and embedded security.
  • Experience in threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) at the system level and component level.
  • Experience in Scalable Public Key Infrastructure Deployments and management.
  • Experience in vulnerabilities in vehicle connectivity interfaces and protocols, e.g., CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, GNSS.
  • Experience in writing Level 1 to Level 3 requirements.
  • Experience using requirement management systems like JAMA, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in emerging security standards/frameworks, including ISO/SAE 21434, UNCE WP.29 cybersecurity.
  • Vehicle Fleet Security Operations (vSOC) and AI/ML experience.
  • Prior experience in automobile companies and understanding of vehicle architecture and communication is a plus.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $154,900—$227,150 USD annually.
