Job Description: Cloud Engineer / Data Scientist shaping the client's enterprise architecture, driving core to edge cloud, data-related initiatives across the client’s organization and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture and Integration Planning: Propose methods, tools, create deliverables for integrating community architecture solutions.
2. Current State Assessments: Capture, review, assess current state architecture for cloud infrastructure services & capabilities, Analytical assessments with a proposed way forward for future vision and strategy documents.
3. Multiple Cloud Strategy: Establish and implement mechanisms that provide for a multiple cloud architecture strategy.
4. Hybrid Multi-cloud Edge Solutions: Prescriptive guidance define minimum viable products (MVP) for regional, edge cloud architectures.
5. Long-Term Thinking: Develop data strategies that consider long-term implications, anticipating future needs and trends.
6. AI Integration: Explore AI and machine learning techniques in a diverse cloud environment, Analyze its impacts on architecture. Explore emerging data sources generated by AI models and propose how they may integrate into a cloud data ecosystem.
7. Provide cloud "Core to Edge" implementation plans and best practices.
8. Provide Edge MVP launch plan documents.
9. Provide knowledge transfer regarding edge architecture design and strategy.
10. Assist Customer with identifying solutions for unique edge requirements.
11. Assist Customer with conducting edge requirements assessment.
12. Assist Customer gathering details on current state edge solutions to include architecture resiliency.
13. Assist Customer with application stack edge knowledge.
14. Provide general recommendations on maturing future state architecture and edge capabilities.
15. Champion a data mesh paradigm.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

1. Data Tagging, Taxonomy, API Brokers; Compute and Storage Optimization; Qualitative Computing.
2. Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
3. Knowledge of and experience working with IC policies, directives, and standards.
4. Data visualization tools/software (Tableau, MS PowerBI)
5. Develop and deliver analysis solutions and visualizations.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
2. Masters 6 – 10 years relevant experience or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science.
3. BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience.
4. Communication skills for technical writing and oral briefings and executive level presentation.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies.
6. Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advancements.
