Responsibilities

1. Manage and grow At-Bay’s core broker base and GWP, ensuring brokers receive world-class service at all times.
2. Propose and negotiate price, coverage, and terms for insurance policies, actively identifying account rounding opportunities.
3. Solicit and analyze risk within At-Bay’s guidelines and ensure proper documentation; service existing renewals and new business portfolio.
4. Collaborate with cyber analytics, product, marketing, and other teams to ensure brokers receive the best At-Bay has to offer.
5. Work with technology and data teams to create tools to enhance the underwriting process.

Attributes and Qualifications

1. Proven experience as underwriter or account executive in cyber liability, Tech, Media E&O, Miscellaneous E&O, or other specialty commercial insurance.
2. Solid knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting, and insurance industry theories and practices.
3. Strong technology affinity, with the ability to work with advanced analytics software.
4. Technical background; strong plus if familiar with DNS, IP addresses, ports, databases, WHOIS records, and other software/computer networking concepts.
5. Amazing team player who enhances the team's performance and prioritizes collaboration over ego.
6. Driven individual who finds satisfaction in completing tasks meticulously.
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment.
8. Clear and concise communication style.

Our estimated base pay range for this role is $85,000-$140,000 per year. Base salary is determined by various factors including market data, location, internal equity, domain knowledge, experience, and skills.
