The opportunity
EY Parthenon - Value Creation helps PE firms, their portfolio companies, and corporate companies realize better returns by unlocking value and accelerating time to money through targeted operational improvements. We rapidly define, quantify, and help realize significant incremental and sustainable value through revenue enhancement, cost and margin improvement and working capital reduction.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational focused projects that span the entire lifecycle of a transaction, including operational due diligence, buy side carve out and integration planning, post-acquisition planning, ongoing performance improvement, and exit readiness planning.

- Project Management - lead and manage project teams comprising of colleagues from across the Strategy and Transactions sub service lines.
- Business and Commercially Driven - work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to drive value to our clients.
- Business Development - drive pursuits, including presentations and client meetings.
- People development – coach, train, and mentor junior team members.
- Building Relationships - develop strong trusted advisor relationships with senior clients.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.
- Strategy and operations management consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/modeling skills.
- Experience in operational due diligence, operational transformation, and performance improvement.
- Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A proven record of excellence in M&A transactions.
- Experience in driving operational improvement programs in a corporate setting.
- MBA is preferred.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $250,000 to $290,000. Our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
