Amazon is looking for a talented and entrepreneurial Manager, Product Marketing for our Gift Cards business. The Manager of Product Marketing is an ideal start for individuals who are looking for a high-impact and highly visible role. The North America (NA) Amazon Gift Card Stores Business team owns a portfolio of products on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca that meets customer’s everyday gifting needs including electronic gift cards, physical gift cards, and Amazon stored value. A successful candidate is a self-starter, who has the ability to move quickly, dive into the details and has an ability to work in an ambiguous environment.

This role is an exciting opportunity where you’ll have internal and external marketing ownership for Amazon Gift Cards in the US and CA, which includes Search, Homepage and Business to Business. You will interface with Gift Card’s key stakeholders including Product, Business, Finance, Design, UX, and Amazon partner teams. This includes (1) setting marketing strategy across multiple channels (2) working with central teams on developing new opportunities to drive growth and process improvements, (3) building and executing on a marketing rate card in partnership with business leads and (4) reducing inefficiencies in execution with new tool sets and programs.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Influence senior leaders across Amazon by aligning with Amazon’s core principles to proactively communicate program vision, customer impact, progress and plans.
  2. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to determine pricing, product road-mapping, and marketing launch timelines.
  3. Weekly and monthly tracking of KPI's to monitor marketing goals and diving deep where needed to drive continuous improvement.
  4. Managing engagements for cross-GL team projects and identifying new growth and adoption opportunities.
  5. Partner with and share best practices with WW business owners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Experience in e-commerce, digital products or entertainment industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
