Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Kings Bay, GA 31547

Duties:
  • Utilize Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook mail, proficiently.
  • Demonstrate database entry skills to accurately input and manage data.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license for occasional off-site errands.
  • Exhibit general office administrative skills, such as filing, typing, answering the phone, and effectively communicating in both phone and face-to-face interactions at all levels of the command.
  • Be capable of lifting at least 30 lbs when required.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) and its significance in maintaining the safety and security of nuclear strategic deterrent, Trident-II weapons.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified PRP member, demonstrating expertise in PRP protocols and procedures.
  • Although not required, previous experience of at least 1 year as a PRP monitor, clerk, or administrative assistant within an active PRP office would be considered a plus.
Qualifications/ Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • The applicant shall maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook mail.
  • Strong database entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for both phone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Thorough knowledge of PRP and its purpose.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified PRP member (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a PRP-related role, such as a monitor, clerk, or administrative assistant, within an active PRP office (preferred).
Working Hours:
  • The applicant employee shall develop a work schedule that ensures the completion of all assigned tasks. The core working hours for this position are from 0730 to 1600.
