Job Description:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting operations while acting as a key business partner to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in operational accounting, combined with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to drive both team performance and financial growth. Daily responsibilities will include managing day-to-day accounting tasks, overseeing the audit process, and supporting strategic decisions alongside the leadership team.

Responsibilities:
● Perform corporate accounting responsibilities
● Leverage and implement data aggregation and ERP automation tools for bulk entries
● Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance
● Ownership of month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries,
reconciliations and financial statement variance analysis
● Ensure requisite supporting documentation and schedules are complete for journal entries and
audit requirements
● Work with management to document and update accounting policies, procedures and internal
controls
● Perform ad-hoc analyses and review financial trends throughout the business

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
● CPA certification preferred but not required
● Strong knowledge of GAAP and latest accounting standards
● Experience with financial statement preparation & budgeting
● Ability to manage daily tasks and long-term projects in a growth-oriented environment
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP software, Sage experience a plus
