What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel management
  • Partner with your supervisor and management teams to lead a high-performing team
  • Provide an uncommonly good experience for guests, fostering a family-like atmosphere.
  • Hire, train and manage restaurant team members and restaurant shift managers
  • Keep your restaurant staffed with outstanding Noodlers, assess team performance, facilitate internal development through positive leadership to foster future leaders
  • Lead with integrity, live the culture of Noodles & Company while following operational and inventory control procedures
  • Own scheduling, expense tracking, labor management, and local restaurant marketing
  • Lead with a culture of food safety that exceeds company standards in food quality, food safety practices, and cleanliness
  • Conflict resolution skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in back-of-house and point-of-sale systems, restaurant operations, budgeting (P&L management), and performance reviews.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays. Currently, GMs, are required to work 1 opening shift, 2 mid shifts (11am to 8pm), and 1 closing shift, and a 5th shift that aligns with the restaurant needs. Note that this expectation may change depending on business needs. Ultimately, as the restaurant leader, you will be responsible for ensuring your restaurant and schedule both meet the needs of the business to ensure success.
  • Position may include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 55 pounds
  • Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment
  • Valid driver’s license required, as driving may be necessary
  • Must be at least 18 years old
