Job Duties: The candidate will provide administrative support to a program management office and team of engineers/ information technology (IT) professionals providing technical services to our government customer. Collaborate with government and contracting team leadership to: determine and prioritize program strategies, as well as scheduling, planning, and coordinating meetings support and coordinate activities across all levels of the organization, including weekly/ monthly meetings, project coordination and business materials prepare written technical deliverables curate, review, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, emails, internal memos, meeting minutes, agendas, presentations, and other deliverables track action items and due outs from meetings, emails, procurements etc. provide summation for documents to be approved track project status, schedules, and risks; and help with escalation support budgetary finance activities and track the approval of invoices Work closely with senior personnel regarding oversight of projects within the technical area including tracking and reviewing project status, maintaining detailed records, and formatting any project-related data Manage the calendars and time commitments of the government leadership Basic administrative functions to include photocopying, scanning documents, shipping, maintaining schedules, coordinating travel, preparing expense reports, and other duties as assigned Identify, capture, and achieve operational and strategic improvement opportunities. Advance organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships and facilitating change. Support and facilitate organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, system redesign and integration, and solutions development Provide staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree and six years or more of related experience; Master's degree and four years or more experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree) Secret clearance or above requiring U.S. Citizenship Self-motivated and will accomplish assigned tasks while simultaneously seeking out additional ways their individual skills support the organization. Possess strong skills in multi-tasking, a high level of interest and engagement in government contracting and the IT industry and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy while working independently with minimum supervision Quickly adjust to changing priorities and deadlines and adapt to the dynamics of a multi-faceted team Advanced scheduling and calendar management Strong self-leadership, with the ability and motivation to identify areas where they can be of assistance and where process improvements can be made; strong questioning attitude and the ability to accept that in others and motivated to expand skills and knowledge, as well as tackle new problems and take on new responsibilities Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) in a courteous and professional manner; outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with multiple levels of management Consistently and proactively interact with project teams to complete necessary work Solid proofreading skills Desired: High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook), including but not limited to styles, macros, pivot tables, etc.; proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional or similar PDF software; and basic proficiency in Photoshop or similar image manipulation programs SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
