Description:
NWP has been engaged in the gasoline retail and convenience-store (C-Store) business since 1991. Currently we have C-stores and Quick Serve Restaurants (QSR) in the Austin, San Antonio, and Houston area.

We are currently looking for a motivated and responsible Administrative Assistant to work at our Support Center- Houston location!

Summary
Maintains office operations by receiving and distributing communications; maintaining all NWP site's property licenses and permits, order supplies and equipment; picking-up and delivering items; assisting office staff.

Requirements:
3+ years as an administrative assistant or office manager
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Job Duties:
• Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
• Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring and purchasing meter fund
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for CEO
• Handle property insurance claims and renewals
• Customer Incident claims
• Process store coupon claims
• Assist Accounting Department as needed with filing
• Provides administrative services to staff by copying documents, ordering office supplies and kitchen supplies
• May route incoming calls and place outgoing calls as needed
• Maintain entire office (Kitchen, conference room, supply room, fax machine, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned
