Administrative Assistant - Business and Commercial Litigation



Location: Albany, NY office (100% onsite)

Direct Hire Position!

Salary: $50,000 - $56,000 starting salary!



Job Overview: Law office in Albany, NY is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support multiple attorneys in business/commercial litigation, energy, and corporate law. The ideal candidate will have legal admin experience, great communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.



Qualifications:




  • 3-5+ years of legal administrative assistant experience (required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)

  • Experience in litigation (required)

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent grammar and spelling

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

  • Excellent client service and listening skills


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and format legal documents like resolutions, contracts, briefs, and leases

  • Draft, edit, and finalize written communications

  • Manage phone calls, messages, and emails for attorneys, clients, and staff

  • Track and manage court deadlines

  • Handle mail distribution and file management

  • Coordinate travel for attorneys and clients (flights, hotels, car rentals)

  • Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments

  • Organize and maintain firm files and ensure proper storage
