is seeking a candidate for the position of

Senior Bridge Project Design Engineer V

in AECOM's Chicago, ILL. office. Specifics of the role include: Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects. Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling. Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. Leads technical business development work. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Approves and signs off on work. Leader in one or more areas of technology. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large, complex projects. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: 10 years' experience in bridge design. Project management skills. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing. Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software). Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes. Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools. A current Illinois PE license. A current SE license highly preferred. Offered rate of compensation (Chicago, ILL. area only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000.
