Position Overview:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy across HiLabs' healthcare and payor channels. This individual will lead the sales team, foster strong relationships with healthcare providers and payor organizations, and drive new business opportunities while ensuring the continued success of existing client relationships. The VP of Sales will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with HiLabs' business goals and growth targets. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Define sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team and individual sales representatives. Provide strategic leadership in the areas of customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
Healthcare & Payor Sales Focus: Leverage deep expertise in healthcare and payor sales to establish and grow relationships with health insurance providers, payor organizations, and healthcare systems. Drive sales opportunities in both B2B healthcare and payer segments, including hospitals, physician groups, insurance carriers, and health plans. Navigate complex sales cycles within healthcare systems and payor organizations, managing multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. Tailor product offerings and sales solutions to meet the unique needs of healthcare providers and payors.
Customer and Market Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key customers, ensuring strong partnerships and customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and oversee contract negotiations and renewals. Identify new business opportunities within the healthcare and payor sectors and develop targeted outreach strategies. Understand market trends, customer needs, and industry regulations to adjust sales strategies and product offerings accordingly.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and product offerings. Provide feedback from customers and market insights to help shape product development and business strategies. Work closely with the executive team to establish annual sales forecasts, budgets, and growth plans. Ensure the sales team is properly trained on HiLabs' products, solutions, and services, as well as industry trends.
Performance Management: Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership. Track and manage sales pipelines, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities and timely closure of deals. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed sales targets. Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Qualifications: Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with at least 10 years of experience in healthcare and payor sales, preferably in the diagnostic, laboratory, or healthcare technology industries. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, payor structures, and the intricacies of working with insurance carriers, health plans, and healthcare providers. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing large sales teams, and closing complex sales deals within healthcare or payor segments. Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives, healthcare leaders, and payor stakeholders. Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and sales tactics.
