What We Do
Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business. What You'll Do
As a Product Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive engagement and monetization initiatives across our suite of products and businesses. You will use both creative and analytical skills to identify opportunities, define product strategy, support roadmap development, execute live operations, and contribute to strategic planning relevant to the LiveOps space. In this role, you will
Define and drive efforts to expand Online’s telemetry for 3P partners Develop a multi-year roadmap and strategy to extend Epic’s product offerings around LiveOps across mobile, PC, and console, in support of both developers and gamers Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including users/developers, technical teams, and management, to gather requirements, and explain technical designs/features Define measurable feature and initiative goals as well as create detailed business and product requirements that are used to guide design and technical specifications Collaborate with team members to assess technical viability, test new technology, and explore design options Collaborate with marketing, legal, and other partners on go-to-market strategies and execution for major product releases What we're looking for
8+ years of Product Management experience across both Console/PC and Mobile gaming Understanding of the major gaming platforms and the differences in player expectations on each of those platforms Experience with LiveOps and related gaming telemetry and monitoring systems Experience simplifying ambiguous problem spaces to drive alignment with stakeholders A passion for games and a deep understanding of growth, retention, and monetization principles and mechanics as it relates to 3rd party developers A desire to enable developers to ship the best titles without barriers, enabling shared experiences across all platforms Experience architecting and leading innovative, complex game platform/development products Experience collaborating with a variety of strategic stakeholders to bring a product vision to life Deep knowledge of both developer and user behavioral trends and priorities Experience in collaborating with design teams to design, document, and build systems for scalable and consistent user interfaces This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA). The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs). New York City Base Pay Range $209,534 — $307,316 USD California Base Pay Range $230,487 — $338,048 USD Washington Base Pay Range $209,534 — $307,316 USD ABOUT US
