About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 14 As a People Partner for S&P Global Ratings, you will play a pivotal role in driving our People Forward Strategy within a highly regulated environment. Your leadership will be crucial in aligning our people agenda with the strategic objectives of S&P Global Ratings and the enterprise, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication across all levels of the organization. Communicate effectively about people strategies and initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. Manage the people agenda for assigned client groups, ensuring alignment with S&P Global’s People Forward Strategy and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with our Centers of Expertise and other People Partners to implement and maintain an effective operating model across S&P Global Ratings, addressing any roadblocks that may arise. Navigate fluidly across the enterprise to facilitate talent acquisition and development, while addressing specific needs of client groups and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies. Lead initiatives that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), focusing on creating an inclusive workplace that reflects our commitment to these values. Oversee change management and culture initiatives, ensuring that organizational design and development align with S&P Global's strategic goals. Monitor and analyze metrics related to people management, providing insights that drive continuous improvement in talent strategy and workforce planning. Drive Engagement & Retention by identifying areas of opportunity and developing strategies and plans to mitigate attrition risk of key talent. Develop and build a high performing People Partner team, act as a peer advisor, coach to other members of the Global People team as well as coaching and building capabilities within own team – ensure strong succession is in place for own role. Compensation/Benefits Information:
(This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,350 to $245,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, partnering with executive/senior leadership and a track record of delivering results on defined talent agendas preferably within a regulated business environment. Experience working with international teams. Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to S&P Global Ratings. Exceptional collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams. Advanced communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts and messages to the essential components and deliver these effectively to a wide range of audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex people agendas and drive results in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred. Leadership Capabilities: Ability to exercise discretionary authority in ensuring that the people agenda is implemented effectively and is delivering results. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
