Cloud / DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, with a strong focus on automation, container orchestration (EKS/GKE), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, implement, and maintain robust cloud solutions while ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Principal Responsibilities
Containerization: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD or GitLab CI.
Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Desired Qualifications/Skills Kubernetes: Strong experience working with multi-tenant distributed platforms, micro services and container orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS/GKE.
CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Version Control: Experience with Git and version control best practices.
Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
Preferred Skills Multi-Cloud Experience: Experience managing and integrating multi-cloud environments.
DevOps Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
