Director of Product Design

to lead design for GoFundMe’s Enterprise Software suite for over 4000 of the world’s leading non-profit organizations. In this role, you will define the experience vision that empowers nonprofits to build meaningful connections with their supporters through innovative tools and features. Candidates considered for this role will be located in one of the following locations: Los Angeles or San Francisco. The Job… Build and manage a talented, diverse team of product designers that consistently delivers impact. Mentor and develop the skills, talents, and careers of the designers and design managers on your team, coaching them to success and impact. Build a thriving culture where designers do high-quality work and uphold our outstanding product experiences. Own vision setting, roadmapping, priority setting, and design delivery across multiple tracks of work. Champion exceptional design throughout GoFundMe. Collaborate with the design leadership team to evolve GoFundMe’s long-term experience vision, design systems, and internal design processes. Contribute to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring decisions, that seek excellence in craft. Collaborate with product and engineering leadership. You… 10+ years of product design experience (visual and interaction within software design). 5+ years leading teams in a SaaS environment. Ideally, deep experience with e-commerce platforms, site builders (e.g., Wix, Shopify), and SaaS admin tools. Experience working across both B2B and ideally B2C markets, with an understanding of the unique dynamics of each. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, executives, and customers, and present on stage at events. The ability to balance business objectives with user needs and team needs. You represent all sides of the business and know how to create the best outcomes for each. The total annual salary for this full-time position is $260,000 - $350,000 + equity + benefits. The salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
