The Position:

The Field Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment to support field operations, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates while maintaining hiring standards and compliance. This role is part of our centralized talent acquisition function, focused on delivering strategic recruitment solutions.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment process for field positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and team dynamics
  • Manage candidate pipeline through ATS to ensure time-to-fill targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local talent sources and professional networks
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with HR Business Partners on strategic workforce planning
  • Facilitate candidate assessment and selection processes

The Location:

This position is located primarily in Waukesha, WI but projects will vary by location throughout the Walbec Group family of companies, you can expect to travel up to 10% of the time with occasional overnight stays.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in field operations
  • Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruitment and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting hiring targets and deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with high-volume recruitment
  • Knowledge of recruitment marketing and candidate sourcing

  • Talking and hearing in a standard office environment
