The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, performance management, and employer relations.

What you will get to do:
- Analyze existing HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and execute strategies to address gaps in process.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and verify employee eligibility.
- Oversee the onboarding processes, including new hire orientations and employee programs to foster engagement and retention
- Administer and support human resource programs such as compensation, benefits, leave management, performance evaluations, and employer relations
- Assist recruitment efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates
- Address employee and supervisor inquiries regarding HR policies, escalating complex or sensitive issues to appropriate leadership when necessary
- Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, conducting regular reviews and updates of HR policies and practices
- Stay informed of evolving HR trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance talent management and employee experience
- Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals and objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in a material-handling, industrial, or manufacturing industry
- SHRM or PHR certification is not required but preferred
- Extensive experience working across a variety of key HR functions
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment ability.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to work independently.
- Proactive, driven, self-starter attitude.
