DISHER is currently partnering with a logistics company that is a leading systems provider of highly dynamic, automated, and turnkey logistics solutions worldwide in their search for an HR Generalist. The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, performance management, and employer relations.

What you will get to do:
    • Analyze existing HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and execute strategies to address gaps in process.
    • Conduct or acquire background checks and verify employee eligibility.
    • Oversee the onboarding processes, including new hire orientations and employee programs to foster engagement and retention
    • Administer and support human resource programs such as compensation, benefits, leave management, performance evaluations, and employer relations
    • Assist recruitment efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates
    • Address employee and supervisor inquiries regarding HR policies, escalating complex or sensitive issues to appropriate leadership when necessary
    • Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, conducting regular reviews and updates of HR policies and practices
    • Stay informed of evolving HR trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance talent management and employee experience
    • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals and objectives
What will make you successful:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in a material-handling, industrial, or manufacturing industry
    • SHRM or PHR certification is not required but preferred
    • Extensive experience working across a variety of key HR functions
    • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
    • Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment ability.
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
    • Willingness and ability to work independently.
    • Proactive, driven, self-starter attitude.
