Job Description
Bailey is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Dock & Door Technician to join our team! The Lead Dock & Door Technician is responsible for installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and inspecting commercial/industrial overhead doors, loading docks, dock leveling systems, and other warehouse equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent Bailey as the primary contact for commercial Dock & Door customers, building strong relationships through excellent service.
- Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial doors, door opening systems, warehouse docks, and dock leveling systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Bailey equipment and systems at customer locations to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dock and door equipment, mechanisms, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits.
- Ensure installations meet quality standards by checking for proper alignment, balance, and clearance.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and safe service, proactively addressing customer needs and identifying opportunities to expand Bailey’s business.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB REQUISITES

Education/Training/Experience:
- A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs
- A minimum of two years experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with servicing warehouse equipment, commercial overhead doors, and/or loading dock equipment.
- Experience in welding, steel fabrication, and electrical.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

- Able to work with minimal or no supervision in the field
License(s) or Certification(s) Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
