Purpose/Scope:
This position is responsible for organizing production according to demand, plant capacity, and quality standards. The role will ensure our products are produced on time for the field, while maximizing manufacturing efficiencies and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work closely and collaboratively with the Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers to balance workloads across multiple groups and manufacturing plants
•Creation of production schedules, production sequencing, and daily cast books to meet demand and quality standards
•Work with internal teams to verify availability and readiness of fabrication materials, shop tickets, and manufacturing
•Update and maintain backlog summary reports and ERP dates
•Address issues to minimize disruption
•Track ticket availability, production processes, material supplies, and product readiness for issues and bottlenecks.
•Identify opportunities to improve the manufacturing or production process through more effective scheduling management
•Attend meetings as required
Basic Qualifications:
•Associates degree or equivalent experience
•3 years' experience in production scheduling or related industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•Precast manufacturing experience
•Proven experience as production scheduler
•Excellent knowledge of production scheduling and quality control principles
•Experience in reading blueprints, shop tickets, and erection drawings
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication abilities
•Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
•Competent in computer applications, especially spreadsheets and databases
•Familiar with scheduling programs and concepts
Physical Requirements:
•Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time
Work Environment:
•Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lighting
