Salary: $15 to $16

Oppermann Webbing, a leader in the textile manufacturing industry, is looking to fill the position of Printer. We have availability on 1st & 3rd shift.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read scheduled work orders and select proper printing plates.
  • Request correct webbing from Material Handlers.
  • Use correct color of inks per customer requests and knowing which printers run different colors.
  • Run webbing through the entire printer to ensure accurate printing.
  • Provide supervisors with print samples to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Communicate with supervisors when printing plates are getting worn or broke, so it can be replaced.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Manufacturing is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • This job has no computer skills required.
  • Must regularly lift up to 50lbs unassisted and move up to 500lbs with mechanical assistance. Must be able to adapt to temperature changes. Close, distance, color and peripheral vision required for inspection of the material.
