The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation/Competitive Sports. The Coordinator will assist with the overall planning, coordinating and assessment of a comprehensive Competitive Sports Program. Responsibilities include planning, assessing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Sports Officials Development Program, assisting in the management and scheduling of the Intramural Sports Program, and serve as an advisor for select sport clubs within the Sport Club Program. The Coordinator also plans, assesses, and coordinates assigned Special Event and Extramural programs and handles various administrative tasks.

- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
- One year of intramural programming experience.
- Staff supervision experience.
- Master's Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Exercise Science/Physiology or related field.
- Graduate Assistant experience in collegiate recreation programming.
- 2 years of direct experience with, student personnel supervision at the collegiate recreation level, and implementation and management of Officials Training in a collegiate recreation setting.
- 1 year of officiating experience at the interscholastic and/or intercollegiate level.
CERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSURE REQUIRED : (or can become obtained after hire):
- American Red Cross CPR / AED /Standard First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer Certification
