Pay rate: $14.00/hour + affordable medical, dental, vision, benefits and more!

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
Maintain a clean, disinfected, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents, families, employees, and visitors of PC&S
Use proper chemicals, tools, and equipment to clean assigned areas
Assist with set-up and clean-up of events/activities
Dust, clean and sanitize resident rooms, as assigned (i.e. deep cleaning and daily clean schedules)
Clean and sanitize public restrooms
Clean nurses station
Inventory supply cart and restock on a daily basis
Maintain clean housekeeping closet at all times
Report repair needs to Supervisor
Work with other staff on major projects
Work in Laundry as needed
Make rooms ready for admissions
Minor repairs (changing light bulbs, etc.) if applicable
Assist Laundry Techs and Floor Techs as needed being able to work all three areas
Pull trash as needed
Assist other Departments as needed
Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent
Housekeeping experience, domestic or commercial, preferred (1 year)
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
Good communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks and know when to ask supervisor for assistance
Willingness to climb ladders and perform other duties that require heights
Ability to adapt to changes in procedures, as improvements are made
Knowledge of household tools, floor care and other related equipment
Ability to perform Essential Duties
Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and persons with disabilities
Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements
Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities
Ability to comply with site and departmental safety policies and procedures
