\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.’s (Resident Services Assistants). \n
- Assist in supervising the medication program and assist the residents with self-administration of medication. \n
- Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians. \n
- Report any significant incidents and/or changes in the residents needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director. \n
- Support the completion of resident assessments and service plans. \n
- Assist with clinical assessments/recertification’s per ALSA requirements. \n
- Support Resident Services Director in hiring for and managing performance within the department. \n
- Assist in the training and participate in orientation of new associates. \n
- Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs and associate meetings. \n
- Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as needed. \n
- Providing coaching and mentoring to Resident Services Department associates as needed. \n
- Support residents and families as needed to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. \n
- Assist with supervision of RSA staff during provision of care. \n
- May perform other duties as assigned. \n
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
\n- \n
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s). \n
- Basic first aid and CPR certification. \n
- Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience. \n
- Experience in assisted living or long term care setting preferred. \n
- Experience and/or special interest working with seniors. \n
