Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions has a client in Troy, MI that is seeking an experienced & well-rounded Part-time Accounting Specialist. Responsibilities & Duties include, but not limited to:
Analyze revenues and expenses to confirm proper recording
Ensure that all the expenses and allocations for the current period have been recorded
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Process month and year end process
Match & file invoices & purchase orders
Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation to the General Ledger
Assist with the monthly and annual budget and forecast with input from the various department managers
Accounts Payable
Cash Applications
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Qualifications & Requirements:
Some college preferred
4 years of relevant work experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
Knowledge of general accounting
High degree of number acuity and the ability to analyze data
Must possess solid interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be able to interact with various levels of professionals
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete numerous tasks under time constraints
Strong leadership skills as well as ability to adapt to current culture
Specifics:
Fully on-site from Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract position for 4+ months, possible extension
$22-27/hr. (Willing to stretch for depth of accounting experience)
