About the role

As the Director of Business Development at DataSnipper you will lead and inspire a high-performing BDR team, develop and execute pipeline generation strategies and work cross functionally to ensure alignment to greater revenue goals. Reporting to the CRO, your leadership will directly impact the company's revenue growth by ensuring that the BDR team generates high-quality opportunities for the sales pipeline

What you will do:

Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Identify and address skill gaps within the team, providing ongoing training
  • Drive recruitment efforts to build a strong, diverse, and high-performing BDR team

Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute a pipeline generation strategy focused on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to fuel the sales pipeline.
  • Set clear goals, metrics, and KPIs for the BDR team. Monitor performance and conduct regular one-on-one and team reviews to assess progress, provide feedback, and adjust strategies to drive success

Process Optimization & Best Practices
  • Implement best practices to increase conversion rates and ensure efficiency across the team.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on strategy and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads


What you bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing a global team of BDRs
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, qualification, and prospecting strategies.
  • Take charge of designing and managing the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training processes for the BDR team, with a focus on helping them grow professionally and transition into new sales opportunities within the company.
  • Leverage CRM to manage sales process, and set standards for performance metrics
