Locum Pediatric Hospitalist *126057: Northeastern, North Carolina

• Our Hospital is seeking a BC Pediatric Hospitalist to provide locums coverage. Physician will be required to come in and round, etc, then to be on call. The provider may have to see patients in the emergency department and admit pediatric patients. Locums provider will not be required to stay in the hospital.
• Coverage Needed:
  • December 28 at 7am-January 1 at 7am
  • January 26 at 7am through 28 at 7am
  • February 15 at 7am through 17 at 7am
  • February 21 at 7am through 23 at 7am
  • March 1 at 7am through 4 at 7am
• Inpatient only
• Average Total Inpatient Census: 5
• Volume: ~ 2 patients/day/provider & ~2 admissions/day/provider (Low Volume Emergency Department)
• Certifications Required: BLS/PALS/NRP
• No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
• Responds to Codes
• Coverage of Newborn nursery, scheduled C-sections, & deliveries
• Not required to remain on site during call - be within 30 minutes of the facility
• EMR: EPIC
