The Endpoint Management Team is vital to supporting our firm's diverse businesses, and we're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we add a Digital Workplace Operations Engineer to our team. The Opportunity: As Digital Workplace Operations Engineer, you will ensure efficient and effective operational support for endpoint management and application deployments across the global organization. You will report to the Digital Workplace Infrastructure Operations Team Lead, and be responsible for various aspects of device management, including software packaging, operating system deployment, patch management, and supporting security compliance of the deployments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborate on deployment needs, and implement process improvements to align with our IT strategy. The Day-to-Day:Administer SCCM automated software delivery through Software Center along with creating, maintaining, and deploying desktop imagesDeploy Windows to desktops, patching Windows to all Windows endpoint devices, and deploy software to all Windows endpoint devicesCreate documentation for infrastructure and SCCM changesContinuously monitor, maintain, and support our servers using Microsoft and third-party tools, applying performance and security patches and monitoring backupsDevelop advanced scripts using PowerShell, Batch or VBScript for both Windows 7 and Windows 10 to automate software removal and reduce identified vulnerabilitiesPerform Tier II/III troubleshooting of issues on client workstation systems for Windows AutopilotCreate and document support processes and knowledge articles using the ServiceNow knowledge base to enhance support efficiencyMonitor endpoint device compliance with configuration management baselines and fix non-compliant devicesProduce compliance reports and analyze data to determine trends and identify gaps to be addressedCreate and deploy Intune configurations, policies, and settingsManage and maintain Windows 10 and 11 workstation baseline configurationsPackage software and updates for deployment in the test and production environmentsDevelop security baselines based on the recommendations from the Engineering and Security teamsCreate reports on device compliance, application deployment, patch management, and software inventoryEnsure that device patching is planned, tested thoroughly, and deployed with minimum service disruption while meeting Corporate IT and Cyber Security standardsTroubleshoot and resolve SCCM client health issues that prevent patches from automatically installingYour Qualifications:2+ years of working IT experience including 1+ year of experience in a service desk or desktop support role1+ year of experience automating processes using PowerShell1+ year of experience troubleshooting and supporting SCCM/MECM packing deploymentExperience with security patchingStrong governance and security expertise and in managing risks for end-usersServiceNow ITSM experience, with Asset and/or CMDB experienceLean and Agile mindset for efficient endpoint managementIntune experience, supporting software packaging and patchingWindows Autopilot experienceExperience with packaging, testing, deployment, and issue remediationExperience with Azure Active DirectoryBachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology or related field requiredCompensation:$70,000-$140,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experienceEligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performanceWhy Fisher Investments: We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
