G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an overnight Painter to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will perform routine to moderately complex surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks, applying a variety of methods and techniques to both interior and exterior surfaces.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, Sheetrock, concrete, and wood
• Perform building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks
• Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts
• Use mechanized high-reach equipment to renew caulking on exterior building panel seams, windows, and doors
• Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation, staining, and sealing
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Perform minor plaster repair, blending newly renovated wall surfaces with existing plaster
• Survey building painting project sites to estimate time and material quantities required; selects appropriate surface coatings.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.

Physical Requirements:

• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of climbing and working from ladders up to 36 feet

Shift: 11:30pm - 8:00am. Days off to be determined.

Compensation: $20.00- $23.00 per hour, Medical, Vision, Life, and 401k
