As an Intellectual Property Assistant/Secretary at this elite DC law firm, you will be responsible for providing secretarial support to several attorneys and timekeepers at the firm. A key part of this role will be providing top quality client services to both internal and external clients. If you are an experienced, highly organized, team-oriented individual who enjoys a high-volume workload this could be the job for you!

About the Job:

  1. Provide administrative support to high-level attorneys, including planning travel logistics, scheduling meetings, and updating calendars.
  2. Assist with preparing and submitting vendor invoices, for both domestic and foreign vendors.
  3. Prepare, edit, and organize monthly attorney bills for review.
  4. Assist with onboarding new clients and matters.
  5. Troubleshoot any issues with invoice submission.
  6. Assist with the preparation, proofreading, and finalization of daily time entries.

About You:

  1. Experienced. You have at least five (5) years of previous related experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment.
  2. MS Office savvy. You can navigate through all the various applications of the Microsoft Suite.
  3. Reliable. You are a team player who can provide high quality client service and can also work independently to problem solve and meet deadlines.
  4. Thorough. You are highly organized and have a keen eye for detail.
