Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the TEFAP Program Manager with the clerical processing, ordering, and distribution of all products
- Maintains complete paperwork. Operates warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Pallet Jacks and Packaging wrapping systems in a safe manner
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment, document, and update schedule as necessary
- Cleaning and disinfection warehouse areas, such as hard surface mechanical cleaning with floor cleaning machines, mopping, and washing of surfaces
- Organize incoming stock in the warehouse and complete and file all related paperwork
- Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, guests, and volunteers of the Family Center
- Read and follow written and oral instructions in response to appointments, scheduling, and reporting
- Prepare and deliver orders to local pantries
Qualifications
Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid, unrestricted Chauffer’s License with good driving record required
Experience
- 2 years previous work experience in warehouse operations
