Our client, Evercor Facility Management, based in the Wilkes-Barre area, is currently seeking an experienced HR Director to join the leadership team and serve as a strategic business partner.

This position is responsible for all HR needs within the company's regional offices, including systems, policies, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee relations, legal compliance and record keeping, compensation/payroll, and benefits.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the fluctuating needs of the company. The ideal candidate must have the ability to travel occasionally. Bilingual and employment visa experience a plus. Hybrid work schedule is possible dependent on needs and approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and administer an effective recruitment program, including management of the employment visa process.
  • Ensure all HR operations across all company offices adhere to legal standards (local, state, and federal).
  • Oversee, define, implement, and align organization-wide strategies and objectives to address human resources needs that support the vision of our client. Working with the leadership team to develop these strategies for the company.
  • Manage the compensation program and ensure market-competitive pay that enables the company to attract, motivate and retain employees at all levels.
  • Oversee and manage benefit administration including partnership with management regarding benefit costs and employer/employee cost sharing. Confer with broker and vendors on yearly contracts and offerings.
  • Oversee and provide counsel to managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management and corrective action.
  • Oversee employee records and reporting process to ensure availability of accurate data and regulation compliance.
  • Ensure maintenance of the HRIS and payroll system. Oversee payroll process.
  • Oversee all Worker's Compensation claims.
  • Provide input into the maintenance and ongoing recommendations of HR policies, procedures and processes which includes updates to the Employee Handbook. Develop and maintain all employee communications to ensure all employees have clear information regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8-10 years of experience with a proven career history of accomplishments and progressive job responsibilities within human resources.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize, as needed.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all levels and positions within the company.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and keep accurate and thorough records.
  • Excellent verbal and written bilingual communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
