Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits' products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits' sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager. The position will be leading the accounting team to complete the activities required to maintain the company's general ledger and deliver financial statement reporting in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. This position also plays a leadership role in the issue resolution and activities to support the department's goals.

Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per year

Job Function:
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting processes and deliver timely US, international and consolidated financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP and Internal Accounting Policy.
  • Coordinate with international subsidiaries to complete and review timely financial statements.
  • Prepares and reviews monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements, includes intercompany elimination entries.
  • Lead internal staff to timely and efficiently complete annual financial audit.
  • Prepare quarterly reports and analysis in support of management and Board of Directors presentation.
  • Prepare and monitor the department's KPIs.
  • Lead the department's effort in the identification, documentation, and maintenance of department procedures to minimize risk and comply with company requirements.
  • Serve as department subject matter expert (SME) in maintenance and documentation of internal financial ERP and reporting systems
  • Lead departmental projects and process changes in order to improve efficiency in work processes and to reduce work in low value activities
  • Provide accounting and reporting technical support to team members to ensure compliance and reporting effectiveness

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This role has 3 direct reports.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience and 3 years as accounting supervisor/manager.
  • Experience in ERP implementation (eg. SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting concepts.
  • Experience in Internal Audit and Controls a plus.
  • Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to ITAR compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Information Systems (ERP, BI tools, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Solid financial analysis thinking and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail; efficient; able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
