Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing within a machine shop.
• Ability to manage an MRP system to include Bill of Materials, Work Centers, Machine Centers, Routings, and Statistical Process Control utilizing MRP data.
• Manage manufacturing data packages to include work instructions, process controls, and quality assurance verification processes.
• Evaluate and coordinate compliance with technical requirements
• Champion configuration management best practices including ECO, ECN process
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• A degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Machine Shop
• Experience with Solidworks
• Experience with Cost Estimation
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics MRP/ERP system
• Lean manufacturing certification
• Five years of related work experience
• Experience in engineering for DOD customers/services
• Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing
• Experience in AS9100 or NADCAP environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment. Occasionally, with contact with potentially hazardous chemicals or materials. All employees are expected to follow the company’s rigorous safety and personal protective equipment procedures.

This position is for our Mooresville, NC location.

Compensation is based on experience.
