As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) while driving impactful engineering projects. This position offers the opportunity to design and document cutting-edge tooling and processes, ensuring compliance with the highest safety and production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sustaining engineering projects to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Initiate and implement programs aimed at continuously improving manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct safety risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigations to enhance workplace safety.
  • Collaboratively design and develop tools, such as machine guarding, to improve safety metrics.
  • Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Document all processes and tooling using applicable systems, including SAP and TLM.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and production teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Maintain and adhere to all specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in process design, tooling development, and documentation within manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in technical tools specific to engineering functions, such as CAD and CAE.
  • Familiarity with industrial and quality engineering methodologies, including Lean principles, Six Sigma, DoE, FMEA, and QFD.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing projects that deliver measurable business results.
  • Experience with safety risk assessments and designing machine guarding solutions is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in process and tooling documentation, using systems like SAP and TLM.
