The Position

Medius is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to lead sales efforts in identifying, qualifying and closing upsell and cross sell business for our existing customers in North America. We are looking for tenured Account Managers out of our space specifically (AP, P2P SaaS Sales) that will proactively build account plans and engage key stakeholders to understand customer business goals and challenges.

Success in this position will build on hunger to succeed, ability to thrive in a pressured sales environment (month after month after month sales), excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills that reinforce our domain expertise and, in doing so, showcase the business benefits and value of the Medius Spend Management suite of solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships with circa ~30 named accounts. Identify key stakeholders and drive long term relationship value as a trusted advisor. Develop relationships with C Level Executives.
  • Understand customer business goals and challenges in order to uncover upsell and cross sell opportunities and increase revenue from assigned account list.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales, Professional Services and other internal Medius resources to maximize customer satisfaction and increase account revenue.
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Crafting and delivering compelling solution proposals that accurately demonstrate value and illustrate a strong ROI.
  • Maintain balance between sales and non-sales account management activities.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ Years Quota bearing enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • 4+ Years experience selling P2P/AP SaaS Solutions to Enterprise Customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle many tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with value based selling and building pipeline through proactive activities.
  • Team player, collaborating across teams and departments in North America, the UK and Europe.
  • Experience in engaging with customers and holding confident business conversations to generate trust and build and maintain close and effective working relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create & deliver clear, engaging, accurate & concise presentations.
