We are seeking a reliable and skilled Textile Machine Operator to join our team in Huntersville, NC. As a Textile Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various textile machinery to ensure the production of high-quality fabrics and textiles. Your role will require attention to detail, strong technical abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor textile machinery, including weaving, spinning, knitting, and finishing equipment.
• Ensure that machines are running smoothly and efficiently, making adjustments when necessary.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, reporting any defects or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and downtime.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Perform regular machine cleaning and oiling to ensure longevity and performance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in textile manufacturing or machine operation is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair machines.
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality textiles.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of textile materials, processes, and machinery is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
