Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are stored, handled, and distributed efficiently and accurately. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the warehouse setting, from receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to preparing orders for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
- Store products in designated areas within the warehouse according to inventory procedures.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are secure and properly labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory checks, reporting discrepancies and ensuring stock is updated.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards.
Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory tracking.
