Melmark Overview Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders. Assistant Program Manager Overview The Assistant Program Manager is an administrative and clinical supervisor for the residential program and is responsible to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the home. The APM will serve as a supervisor of all employees assigned to that location. The APM is responsible for the training and implementation of the clinical behavioral interventions and teaching strategies for individuals in the residential treatment facility. The APM will ensure operational compliance with organization standards and all agency, departmental and accreditation policies and procedures. Schedule and Salary Information Schedule: Wednesday-Friday 2pm-10pm and Sunday 7am-11pm Starting Salary: $52,000.00 () based on years of direct relevant experience Requirements Associate's Degree or 60 college credits and 3 years of work experience with population required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. One year direct care experience with specialized populations required. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is desirable. Experience with children who exhibit severe challenging behavior preferred. Assistant Program Manager Responsibilities Ensures staff adheres to assigned individual served level of supervision. Ensures the use and maintenance of all adaptive equipment and/ or augmentative devices of individuals served. Ensures the completion of all daily documentation (e.g. Behavior Incident Reports, Accident Injury Reports, Stool Charts, and Body Checks) Will assist the Program Manger to ensure the timely completion of health and safety indicators eg monthly fire drills and individual fire training documentation, van checks and health and safety checklists) Provided Manger on-call responsibilities as needed for coverage, including rounds in all assigned homes and timely submission of electronic shift report. Oversees the implementation of quality performance standards for residential program, eg accurate data collection and entry, organized program book, and follow-up on recommendations. Assists with meeting compliance with all regulatory standards. APM may represent the department in meetings with agencies (local and state) for annual inspections and/or licensing reviews as it relates to Residential Services.
