Job Description Summary PLM Upgrade team in PTC is responsible for timely upgrade of the AWS/Azure hosted Windchill environments to the latest releases as per the defined project cycles. We are looking for a technical consultant, who has experience with PLM upgrades and will be technically responsible for the overall Project execution.

The role requires working mostly during Europe hours to have overlap with customer time zones. Since the work is project-based, the amount of time spent on project tasks will be flexible on any given day, based on the phase of the project. During Production Go-live of the Upgrade Projects, this role requires working on weekends (Frequency - 1 or 2 weekends per quarter) for continuous hours, depending on the complexity of the tasks.

Job Description

Independently work on the Upgrade projects of PTC hosted (on AWS/Azure) PLM applications, through multiple rehearsals.

Own technical quality of the PLM Upgrade deliverable.

Help Project coordinator with Environment review and preparing the technical Project Scope.

Technical POC for customer team for all collaborations involved in Upgrade project (excluding Project communications and coordination).

Execute the End-to-end PLM upgrade activities as per the defined technical steps as required and/or assist the assigned resources through technical guidance and supervision.

Own and manage technical issues arising from Upgrades by working closely with the Technical Support team and coordinating with the customer.

Create, maintain, and review documentation of every upgrade rehearsal.

Coordinate with Cloud infrastructure teams to execute the changes requests that are necessary for completing the upgrade procedure.

Experience 2-5 years of experience on any of the below:

Worked on PTC Windchill Upgrade Projects.

Worked on Administration of PTC Windchill application or similar PLM software, on Cloud Hosted environment.

Managed/Worked on Run-Time operations of PLM environments (preferably PTC products).

Must have Skills:

Linux operations and Administration.

SQL.

Working knowledge in Apache, Tomcat, Web Applications.

PTC Windchill Run-time / Administration / Configurations.

Familiar with SSO architecture (any application).

Should have familiarity with basic Cloud features as described below:

AWS (EC2/Route53/RDS/LB) and/or

Azure (Storage Blobs/AGW/CDB & PDB).

Good to have Skills:

Worked with CAD worker configurations with PTC Windchill.

PTC Thingworx Navigate.

Qualifications BCA/MCA/BE or any related field.
