The Product Development Manager will work closely with factories on wash innovation and development for men's and women's denim and washed wovens. This role involves partnering cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials, and Merchandising to ensure product quality and sustainability. The manager will be responsible for managing seasonal development milestones and maintaining multiple internal tools for communication and transparency. The role includes overseeing initial costing, time and action calendars, and managing lab dip and trim approvals throughout the development process. The candidate will also coach and mentor team members, leading through influence to foster a collaborative work environment. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of product development experience specifically in denim apparel. A strong understanding of wet and dry processing, as well as garment dye development, is essential for success in this role. The candidate should possess excellent cost negotiation and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. An entrepreneurial mindset and resourcefulness are important for creating and implementing process improvements. Robust communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with various cross-functional teams.
