at Hurlburt Field, FL. MTSI is seeking a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the 361 ISRG. As a SIGINT Engineer and SME with MTSI, you will join a small, energetic team to provide systems engineering, integration, and test support to the AFSOC SIGINT developmental, test, and operational communities. You will be responsible for developing and evaluating engineering solutions to mission-critical SIGINT requirements. Provide engineering expertise to SIGINT systems development, to include reviewing and testing system, sub-system, and component designs. Analyze manufacturers’ proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Facilitate and provide engineering support throughout the design, integration, and test and execution processes. Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational and planning expertise to technical research and development activities and acquisition across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines in order to assist with the implementation of program direction. Overseeing contractor and government development and test activities. Establish trusted and influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Work both individually and with a broader engineering, program management, and security team. Work on multiple networks across various classification levels, adhering to all security policies, procedures, and processes. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 20+ years of relevant engineering experience across multiple disciplines. 5 years of experience with military SIGINT systems and operations. Good knowledge of networking, communications, and RF systems. Be a self-starter, thrive in a dynamic environment, can accomplish high-level tasks independently, is skilled in problem definition, and work well with other team members. Ability to coordinate with both internal and external organizations to accomplish common goals. Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams. Excellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detail along with effective time and project management skills. Experience with presenting and communicating technical data to various audiences. Demonstrated ability to complete tasks, drive projects to closure, assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environment and incorporate them into deployment strategies. Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations. Ability to capture technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form. Desired Qualifications: 20+ years of relevant engineering experience across multiple disciplines. 10+ years of experience with military SIGINT systems and operations. Experience working within intelligence and AFSOC communities. Education Requirements: B.S. degree in a technical field such as engineering, physics, or computer science. Advance degree (MS/PhD) in a technical field such as engineering, physics, or computer science, DESIRED. Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance to start, with Counterintelligence Scope Poly eligibility. Current Counterintelligence Scope Poly, DESIRED. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Location/Travel: Place of work is Hurlburt Field, FL. May require up to 20% of CONUS/OCONUS travel.
